Our commitment
HYPE DESIGNS wants everyone, including people who use assistive technology, to be able to read our work, understand how a project runs and get in touch. We build hypedesigns.com to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, and we test against them before and after each release.
What that means in practice
- Every page works with a keyboard alone: a visible focus ring, a “Skip to content” link, and no keyboard traps.
- Text and background colours meet the AA contrast ratio in both the dark and light themes (toggle, top right).
- Images carry written descriptions; decorative video and 3D scenes are marked as such and have a text equivalent.
- If your system asks for reduced motion, the intro animation, smooth scrolling and 3D rotation are switched off and a static version is shown.
- The 3D work carousel has a plain list alternative for screen readers and for devices without WebGL.
- Page structure uses proper headings and landmarks; nothing essential depends on JavaScript to be readable.
Known limitations
- Interactive 3D viewers (for example client proof pages) are inherently visual; each has a description and still images beside it.
- Some older project photographs were taken at events and may contain text we cannot describe exactly.
